In its November meeting, the Senate of the Leibniz Association decided to support Dr. Nadezda Tarakina through the Leibniz Professorinnenprogramm (Female Professorship Program). This program aims to attract outstanding female scientists to the Leibniz Association and support excellent female researchers already working at Leibniz Institutes. The application was supported by the INM – Leibniz Institute for New Materials and Saarland University.
Dr. Tarakina develops electron microscopy methods for nanoscale and atomically resolved imaging of interfaces between hard and soft materials. These insights are of critical importance for the development of new hybrid materials for energy and biomedical applications at the INM.
