Girls from grade 8-10 will have the opportunity to conduct research at the INM labs as part of the Girls’ Day on March 28.
They will try out how metal surfaces can be modified by mechanical processes like sandblasting, structuring and lacquering.
In addition, materials such as plant parts or hair will be prepared by themselves and can be viewed under the scanning electron microscope.
